For our people to live happily, work happily and enjoy happily, for our schools to open back on the most productive days and commerce to bounce back to its original place, the hour has come for us as a people to rise up, to take our destiny into our hands, to play a role and to clean and cleanse our land from the criminals.
It is worthy to note that the tiny but dangerous gangs that have invaded the state and terrorize the people in eight local governments in Anambra and three neighboring local governments in Imo State, are known, we know them, but are either too scared to speak up or out of indifference.
There is no need being silent or sitting on the fence, when our people are killed daily in the most cruel and barberic manner by those who commercialized agitation and make it a lucrative enterprise. It is time to take a stand against their sacrilegious killings, kidnapping, rape, arson, that has become obvious evil and cancerous.
To this end, Governor Chukwuma Soludo has placed ‘One Million Naira’ bounty on anyone who provides useful information that would lead to the arrest of these evil criminals from their hideouts: bush, forest, houses and hotels where they are being harbored including the manufacturers of the dreaded ‘Mkpurummili’.
The government have therefore released several telephone numbers for the public to report any criminality or suspicious conducts.
